Privacy Notice
Last updated: June 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Notice describes how JOACQUEM OGINDO, trading as GynePedia Global ("we", "us", "our"), collects and processes personal data when you use the GynePedia Global MKF Osmosis Series, the GG Reader, and related websites or services (the "Service").
2. Our role
We act as the data controller for personal data we collect about you in connection with your account and use of the Service. Our payment processor, Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), acts as the Merchant of Record and is an independent controller for payment-related data it collects.
3. Personal data we collect
- Account data — email address, hashed password, display name (if provided), and authentication identifiers (e.g. Google account ID if you sign in with Google).
- Subscription and purchase data — products purchased, subscription status, billing period, and the Paddle customer / subscription identifiers needed to grant you access.
- Usage and telemetry — pages visited, chapters opened, device and browser information, IP address, and timestamps of activity.
- Support communications — messages you send us through the Service or by email.
Payment-card details, billing addresses, and tax data are collected directly by Paddle and are not stored by us.
4. Why we use your data and legal basis
- To provide the Service — creating your account, authenticating you, granting access to purchased content (performance of a contract).
- Security and fraud prevention — detecting abuse and protecting our users and systems (legitimate interests).
- Product improvement — analysing aggregate usage to improve the Service (legitimate interests).
- Customer support — responding to your questions (performance of a contract / legitimate interests).
- Legal obligations — tax, accounting, and responding to lawful requests (legal obligation).
- Marketing — only where you have opted in (consent), and you can opt out at any time.
5. Who we share data with
- Paddle — as Merchant of Record for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — for hosting our application, database, and authentication services.
- Analytics and support tooling — to operate and improve the Service.
- Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and tax advisers, where reasonably needed.
- Authorities — where we are required to do so by law or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence, including in jurisdictions whose data-protection laws differ from yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions) to protect your data.
7. How long we keep data
We keep your account and usage data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- request deletion ("right to erasure");
- request restriction of, or object to, certain processing;
- request data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.
For UK/EEA users, we respond to verified rights requests within one month. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the Service.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging — to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure; please notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
10. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We may also use analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect core Service functionality.
11. Children
The Service is intended for trained learners and clinicians and is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes to this Notice
We may update this Notice from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service.
